TO LIMIT THE SPREAD OF CORONOVIRUS ALL FACE TO FACE APPOINTMENTS ARE PREBOOKED AND MAY REQUIRE AN INITIAL TELEPHONE CALL WITH THE CLINICIAN.
If you have symptoms associated with coronavirus, including a new continuous cough or a high temperature, you are advised to stay at home for 7 days. Do not book a GP appointment or attend your GP Practice.
If your symptoms are serious, or get worse, NHS 111 has an online coronavirus service that can tell you if you need further medical help and advise you what to do.
Only call 111 direct if you cannot go online, or are advised to do so by the online service.
We will triage all online bookings to ensure they follow this advice.
For the latest Covid-19 advice please visit www.nhs.uk/coronavirus.
GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:
- book or cancel appointments online
- renew or order repeat prescriptions online
- view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results
You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found is more convenient and saves them time. More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at www.nhs.uk/gponlineservices
How to sign-up
If you have a smartphone we would recommend that you sign up to the NHS App.
If you do not have a smartphone then we can help you get set up online using your laptop or desktop. Please read this leaflet, and if you wish to sign up complete this form and bring with you a piece of photo ID (passport, driving licence) and something with your address on like a bank statement but not a gas or electric bill. If you don’t have these, please talk to us and we will help you sign-up.
