Allergy Season is here - Watch out for Hayfever!
Hayfever season has finally arrived, and we know many of our patients are already starting to feel the effects. Sneezing, itchy eyes, runny nose and congestion are all common symptoms.
If you suffer from Hayfever, now is the time to start taking precautions:
- Keep windows and doors closed during high pollen days.
- Shower and change clothes after being outdoors.
- Use antihistamines or nasal sprays as recommended.
- Speak to your local pharmacy for advice.

Changes to Tax Credit Exemptions for Prescriptions
We want to inform you about a recent change to The Tax Credit Exemption certificate that will come into force on 5th April 2025. If you previously qualified for a credit exemption certificate, we encourage you to review the new guidelines to see if your status has changed.

Spring Covid-19 Booster available from April
We are sending invites out to all eligible patients in the coming weeks. This booster is recommended to help keep you protected against the latest strains of the virus.
Who is eligible for the Spring Booster?
- People aged 75 years and over.
- People who are aged 6 months to 74 years and have a weakened immune system because of a health condition or treatment.
- Who live in a care home for older adults.
Appointments will be available to book into from April. Stay protected this Spring.
